Jeff Gabriel, District 5190
 
 
In 2001, Jeff Gabriel joined the Rotary Club of Topeka South in Rotary District 5710. In 2017, he transferred to the Rotary Club of Bishop Sunrise in Rotary District 5190.
 
At the club level he has served as Earth Day Event Chair, Rotary Youth Exchange Officer, Sergeant-at-Arms, Club Service Director, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President, and Past-President. He served as President from 2011-12 with the Rotary Club of Topeka South. At the District level he has served on the Audit Committee, Rotary Youth Exchange Committee, Assistant Dinner Floor Manager, Assistant Governor representative for the Avenues of Service (AOS) Committee, AOS Breakout presenter and past Assistant Governor for Area 13. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow +5 and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
 
Jeff grew up in Topeka, KS. He attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS and earned a BS in Wildlife Biology and Political Science. He continued to earn a Master of Public Administration, specializing in Agricultural Policy. Jeff is currently the executive director of the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association.
 
Currently services as Yosemite Gateway Partners President, Public Lands Alliance (PLA) Government Affairs Committee member, Eastern Sierra Audubon Society Board member, Alabama Hills Stewardship Group Treasurer, and Inyo-Mono County Master Gardener Past President.
 
Jeff and his wife, Jane, have been married 31 years. They have four children. Their youngest daughter, Abbey, is the secretary of the Bishop Union High School Interact Club and their second oldest daughter, Kellie, is a graduate of Rotary District 5710’s RYLA. The family enjoys hiking, biking, music, traveling internationally, and camping.
