Her “day job” is Public Information Officer for the County of Marin Government, where Laine is responsible for leading and strengthening internal and external countywide communications and enhancing public outreach. There, she was a “Jill of all Trades,” managing media relations, advertising, community outreach, video production, digital media and live event program production, among other responsibilities.

In a previous life, Laine was a NCAA ranked equestrian and still longs to be in the saddle whenever possible (retirement plans!). When she’s not devoting her free time to Rotary, Laine enjoys exploring the outdoors with her wife, Jenny, and dog, Buddy.
