Masuno Bio
Brief Bio - Naomi Masuno, RI District 5000 Governor 2020-2021
 
Naomi Masuno is a member of the Rotary Club of West Honolulu.  She has been a Rotarian since 2002 and has served as East Honolulu Club President 2006-2007, District Awards Chair 2008-2014, District Secretary 2014-2015, and District Treasurer 2016-2018, and District Chief of Staff 2018-2019. She has also served on numerous District Committees. She is committed to supporting the District and Club leadership to carry out the mission of Rotary.
 
Naomi is currently Vice President, Channel Sales Manager in the Retail Lending Division at Bank of Hawaii.  She has more than three decades of banking experience and has applied her vocational skills, as Business Banker and Branch Manager, to assist small businesses.  She has participated as a guest speaker at numerous workshops sponsored by the US Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE and others.  As one of the top SBA lending officers from 2004 through 2011 supporting SBA programs, Naomi was named the SBA 2014 Financial Services Champion of the Year for the State of Hawaii, received the SBA Director’s Choice Award in 2016 and in 2019, she received the “MAKANA HO‘OKO NO KE OLA -  SBA SPECIAL AWARD for LIFETIME LEGACY”.
 
Naomi’s past community service leadership positions includes: Vice Chair of the YWCA Patsy T. Mink Center of Business and Leadership, President of the Waikiki Health Center Board of Directors and US Secretary of Commerce appointee to the Hawaii Pacific Export Council. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii, with a major in Accounting. Naomi and her husband of 33 years, Dean, have two sons.
