Pickett Bio
Brief Bio - Roberta “Berta” Pickett, RI District 5190 Governor 2020-2021 
Daughter of a Past District Governor, Berta joined Rotary in 2002.  A member of the Rotary Club of Amador Upcountry since 2009, she served as Club President in 2012-13. Additionally, she has been Program Chair, Webmaster, Newsletter Editor, Treasurer and Secretary. At the District level, Berta loved serving as a RYLA and REGL counselor, Assistant Governor, and District Training Chair. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a member of both the Paul Harris and Bequest Societies.
Berta earned a BA in Psychology and an MA in Organizational Management, published a book called “Hot, Sweaty, and Happy: Lessons Learned along the Trail”, and retired from her career in leadership coaching and training in 2018.
Berta and husband Dave have been married since 1986. Dave is a retired recreational land-use advocate and a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. Their three children, spouses, and twelve grandchildren all live nearby in the Sacramento area. Berta loves time with her family and living in the mountains.
