District Governor of District 5160 in 2006/2007, Candy is a member of the Rotary Club of Cordelia, and served as President in 1998/99. Candy is the recipient of The Rotary Foundation Citation For Meritorious Service. A Major Donor, Paul Harris Society Member and Bequest Society member, the Rotary Foundation plays a big part in her Rotary life, and at her Rotary 5160 District Conference, Candy honored her daughter Samantha with a Paul Harris. Candy has maintained perfect attendance since joining Rotary. Other Rotary positions include or have included: PETS General Chair 2009, PETS Instructor, Zone Institute Organizing Committee, GETS Instructor, GNATS Chair, GNATS Instructor, Assistant Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator, Zone Foundation Transition Coordinator, Zone Focus Group Coordinator and District Foundation Chair. Candy is currently the Executive Director for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Solano County. A member of numerous boards, Candy’s commitment to the NorthBay Healthcare Foundation, the American Red Cross and the Ellen Meadows Prosthetic Hand Foundation, takes up much of her remaining free time.
