Wulff has been a Rotarian since 2005 with the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park-Cotati.  He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor, Paul Harris Society member and Major Donor.  Wulff was recognized as his club’s Rotarian of the Year in 2009 and again in 2022, served as his club president in 2010-2011 and received his club’s Service Above Self award in 2012 and 2013. He has served District 5130 as an Assistant Governor, as Abuse Prevention Coordinator, as District Conference Chair and continues to serve as a District Historian, Youth Protection Officer and Director of the district’s Ken Moulton Leadership Development Program.
Wulff is no stranger to community service, having served in leadership capacities for the Education Foundation of Cotati & Rohnert Park, the US Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol, the Native Sons of the Golden West, and on the Board of Directors for the Rancho Adobe Fire Protection District.
Professionally, Wulff is semi-retired, having served over 35 years as a public safety professional, on the line as a police sergeant and fire captain, as well as a public safety consultant and technology administrator. He now works as a Safety Officer for the County of Mendocino, as well as a Secure Courier for high-tech companies.
Together with his wife Paula, also a Rotarian leader in her own right, they have been the recipients of the Sonoma County Spirit Award from the Sonoma County Board of Economic Development for their personal contributions and leadership qualities that inspire others throughout Sonoma County. Paula herself is a 2-time club Rotarian of the Year, past-president, past assistant governor, and served as Wulff’s lieutenant governor.  Through Rotary, they sponsor two students in Uganda, Africa.
Wulff holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Sonoma State University.
He and Paula have two adult sons; Wulff Jr., a former Rotaract leader and now a BSRN at Napa State Hospital, and Alexander, PhD, a Senior Software Engineer and hi-tech Archeologist.  Both Wulff Jr. and Alexander are Paul Harris Fellows.
During their very limited free time, they enjoy their home and property on the west slopes of Sonoma Mountain.
