Greetings 2023-2024 Club Presidents! Thank you for stepping up to lead your Club into the future. I look forward to working together as we continue our leadership journey!  Far West PETS is a great experience and an opportunity for Club Presidents from our eight districts to come together to exchange information, share best practices, network with other leaders, make new connections and have FUN as we prepare for the 2023-2024 Rotary year.  Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions or concerns or if you want to talk about how I can best support you and your Club.

 

For those of you that I haven’t met yet, let me introduce myself. I am Claire Roberts. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a serial volunteer. Throughout my life I have volunteered for non-profits including local and national organizations. In college, I joined Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity and I have remained active since graduation. I currently serve as the Chair of the fraternity’s national Professional Development Committee leading training and professional development programs for collegiate and alumni members.

 

I became a member of the Rotary Club of Lamorinda Sunrise in 2012. I served on the Club Board as the chair of the Membership and Communications committees prior to becoming President for the 2016-17 year.  At the district level, I have served on the Foundation committee, as general co-Chair of the Rotary 4-Way Fest in 2019, as District Trainer for 2019-2021 and as the Chief of Staff for the 2021-22 District Governor.  My husband, 2020-21 District Governor Mark Roberts, and I are Major Donors, Paul Harris Society, Polio Plus Society and Bequest Society members.

 

Prior to my retirement in September 2021, I spent my career in the financial service industry focusing on Risk Management and Compliance for payment related products.

 

Mark and I live in Danville with our three very pampered cats.
